And angry. I am really pleased for Alison - the future is brighter for her now. My daughter had intraoperative MRI surgery for a brain tumour in 2007 in Boston, where this surgery was pioneered and has been available for 20 years. Meg has jsut go married. So why is Imperial College spending precious resources on doing research about this treatment when all the evidence exists already? We all know that research on brain cancer is seriously underfunded, so why repeat research which already exists? Have a look at brainstrust.org.uk - we have been trying to get funding in place for this equipment for three years. I am stunned. And angry.
